 | David was an avid and talented photographer, with an eye for the unusual, the quirky and the interesting. Always with a camera, he would take photos on his travels or just around town. More importantly he would share the photos and the experiences. |

Many examples of his work can be seen via the PBase and Photozo Websites, where David was an active and respected member (under the alias of "bygaspo"). On a number of occasions even hosting local meetings with visiting members from the UK, Europe and the US. He has been awarded "picture of the month", or "most viewed gallery" by his peers a number of times. Eric van Zeventer, a Dutch friend and moderator on the site, has very kindly posted a message on Photozo to inform David's many friends there of his tragic demise.

The administrator of Photozo has not only cancelled David's subscription, allowing the galleries to stay, but made a special tribute for David's years of service as a member and moderator.

Marisa worked with David on a number of Galleries and projects on PBase. From Switzerland, she has posted a message of condolence on the site to inform David's many friends there of his tragic demise. As is to be expected, people have replied with their own thoughts.

The management of PBase have very kindly decided to keep the Bygaspo galleries open for as long as PBase is around. Our grateful thanks.
